My PRIZE FOR WINNING a recent TRAVEL WRITING COMPETITION was two 'Round the World' tickets wih AIR NEW ZEALAND! I spent 50 days travelling - L.A San Francisco, NZ and Hong Kong.

I've just been to Los Angeles; driven along Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco and Yosemite. Followed by 5 WEEKS in fabulous New Zealand, been Glacier Hiking and laying in hand dug jacuzzi on Hot Water Beach and travelled to the end of Farewell Spit, rubbed noses with a few Maori men and taken a helicopter ride to top of glacier in Mount Aspiring National Park - and loads more! Had a week in exotic Hong Kong and Macau, learning about 'Tea Ceremonies' in Langtau Island and Hong Kong.

I love travelling, especially meeting and interacting with the people from distant countries and learning about their cultures and history. Wherever I am, I am never without my camera and notebook.
